Microtech has revived this classic OTF with modern engineering, updated materials, and a design that honors the original while pushing it forward. At a glance it resembles the Ultratech, but the differences—both subtle and significant—set it apart. The Makora is slightly thicker yet lighter, with a peaked handle profile and a redesigned glass breaker. Each side of the handle features Microtech’s signature M3 composite inlays for enhanced grip, and the top and bottom sport water‑drainage ports that pair with the blade’s fluting to improve underwater operation. Inside, nickel boron–coated components reduce friction and deliver smoother, more consistent action. The new Makora is a testament to how far Microtech has come, and a confident nod to the roots that built the brand.
