The Work Sharp Mk.2 Knife & Tool Sharpener builds on the success of the original Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener with improved controls, greater versatility, and more precise sharpening. Designed for the serious knife user, the Mk.2 can handle everything from everyday pocket knives and kitchen knives to outdoor blades and common lawn and garden tools.
Using 1/2" x 12" flexible abrasive belts in three grits—P80 Coarse, P220 Medium, and 6000 Fine—the Mk.2 can sharpen an impressive variety of blade shapes and edge styles. The flexible belt system easily conforms to straight and curved blades, tantos, fillet knives, serrated knives, gut hooks, and more while producing a strong, consistent edge.
An improved Precision Sharpening Guide makes maintaining the proper sharpening angle simple and repeatable. Quickly switch between a 25° angle for outdoor and pocket knives and a 20° angle for thinner blades and kitchen knives. The sharpening guides feature scratch-resistant leather linings to help protect the sides of your blades during sharpening.
The integrated Edge Guide supports the blade throughout the sharpening process for greater control and consistency. When additional clearance is needed, the guide quickly flips out of the way to accommodate thumb studs, pocket clips, handles, and other blade or knife configurations.
A two-speed motor gives you greater control over the sharpening process. Use the lower speed for precise knife sharpening or switch to the higher speed when extra power is needed for heavier sharpening and grinding jobs. The conveniently positioned speed control makes it easy to switch settings while you work.
More than just a knife sharpener, the Work Sharp Mk.2 can also tackle lawn mower blades, axes, hatchets, and other common lawn and garden tools, making it a versatile sharpening system for the workshop, garage, or home.
